Plutonic Supports Mental Health Awareness for Gamers During MomoCon’s Virtual Extra Life Gaming Marathon

Atlanta, Georgia — 2025 — Plutonic, a technology-enabled mental health services company, is proud to support mental health awareness within the gaming community through its sponsorship of MomoCon Extra Life Gaming Marathon, a fully virtual, 24-hour fundraising event benefiting children’s hospitals.

The annual online gaming marathon brings together streamers, creators, and gamers from across the country to raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, with proceeds supporting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Participants stream gameplay remotely, engaging their communities to support pediatric care, research, and family services.

“Video games have always been a meaningful way for people to connect, cope, and feel understood,” said James Shu, Founder & CEO of Plutonic. “The Extra Life Gaming Marathon shows how powerful online communities can be. We’re proud to support gamers while also reinforcing that mental health support should be accessible, stigma-free, and easy to reach.”

By participating as a sponsor, Plutonic helped amplify conversations around mental health in gaming spaces and supported a cause that directly impacts children and families in need. The virtual format allowed gamers to participate from anywhere, highlighting how digital platforms can create real-world impact through connection and shared purpose.
